Political Awareness & Involvement

Since establishing itself as a public service sorority at Howard University, Delta Sigma Theta has established a very strong program focusing on social action. Beginning with the 22 founders participating in the Women’s Suffrage parade in March of 1913, Deltas continue to be involved in voter registration, Delta Days at state capitols across the United States and various other activities.  Delta also partners with various non-profit organizations to provide helpful information to the community.
